Al Massar provides support to most needy people; in particular nomads, covering the sectors of food security & livelihoods, wash basic & adult education, institutional & peace building and saving lives of IDPs & refugees, this in addition to cross cutting issues that include; environment & climate change and gender main streaming -protection from Sexual Exploitation and sexual Abuse (PSEA) and Protection policies.
Almassar as a national organization is committed to justice, accountability, transparency and adopts a set of basic rules of the organizational structure since its establishment by agreement of all parties involved in the humanitarian work. Al-Massar supports IDPs and returnees in North Darfur with food security projects
Al-Massar Al-Mutairi for the development and development of nomads provided a project to improve food security and livelihoods for IDPs, returnees and host communities affected by the North Darfur State with a grant from Practical Action and a partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture of the State.
Um Thabat struggle
Um Thabat Ali is one of the beneficiaries of homestead garden, supported by BRACED in South Darfur, Sudan, an activity implemented by CONCERN in partnership with Almassar, a National NGO. Before 10 years ago Um Thabat was of the pastoralists women who rove with their animals, and her household was dependent on livestock as the means of livelihood.
